[Hiring] Nurse Practitioner Clinical Lead @Felix

Role Description

Felix is growing its network of clinical leadership. We're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to own recruitment and training of new Felix healthcare practitioners (HCP). You’ll be the first point of contact for every new HCP, from the first interview until they’re working on their own. You’ll audit and support around initial visits, as well as build and maintain the training materials our whole clinical team relies on.

You’ll report to the Chief Medical Officer and work closely with our Lead NP, our Assistant Medical Director and the clinical operations team.

What you’ll own:

• HCP recruitment: Review resumes and run HCP interviews. The Lead NP may join final interviews.
• Onboarding training: Deliver onboarding sessions for new HCPs, and maintain any asynchronous onboarding materials and videos.
• New HCP support: Answer ad hoc questions and check in with each new HCP until they’re working independently.
• Onboarding chart reviews: Own onboarding reviews end to end. Track each HCP through to a pass, and draft and send feedback emails.
• Lab reconciliation: Complete lab reconciliation as a recurring checklist task.
• Medical hub and training materials: Develop and maintain the medical hub and all written training materials so they stay accurate and easy to use.
• Clinical support: Answer clinical questions from HCPs in our community of practice.
• Clinical quality: As the company grows, participate more deeply in general AI-led clinical quality reviews and mentorship for HCPs beyond strictly the onboarding period.

Qualifications

• Active NP registration in good standing in Ontario, with eligibility to register in others as needed
• 3+ years of clinical practice, ideally including virtual care
• Experience precepting, training or mentoring other clinicians
• Experience providing clinical oversight and leadership in a virtual care setting
• Strong clinical documentation habits and an eye for chart quality
• Clear, kind and direct written feedback
• Comfortable with Slack, Notion and asynchronous work
• Organized enough to track many new HCPs at different stages at once

Nice to have

• Experience with menopause care, longevity/preventive medicine or primary care
• Experience creating training videos or written clinical guides
• Prior involvement in hiring or interviewing clinicians
