Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Women’s health to support our care team (registered nurses and health coach) in prescribing tailored hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or GLP-1's when needed by our members. This custom treatment will be built and implemented in collaboration with our medical director.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be a great team player.

This part-time UNIQUE independent contractor role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to balance your career with personal and other work commitments while being a key player in our mission to contribute to the evolution of women’s health in a dynamic and growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (French and English) required.
• QC license required, with additional licenses preferred.
• You are a NP (Nurse Practitioner) with specialized experience in women’s health, hormonal therapy, and holistic care, with a focus on supporting women through peri- to post-menopause.
• Bonus if you also have basic knowledge of nutrition, exercise, and psychology.

Requirements

• Thorough in client assessments, symptom tracking, and documentation, ensuring every aspect of care is recorded in the EMR.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients in a virtual setting.
• Comfortable working closely with Nurses, Doctors, and coaches. Ability to escalate situations outside of your expertise to the MDs.
• Ability to make critical decisions when symptoms escalate or change, ensuring the client’s health is always prioritized.
• Dedicated to improving client outcomes, especially with HRT management, symptom relief, holistic approaches and long-term health improvements.
• Can manage the fast-paced nature of virtual healthcare while maintaining high standards of care. Can adapt to a start-up growing and evolving company.
• Passionate about providing education to both clients and our care team, ensuring they understand care plans and treatment options.
• Committed to applying the latest research and guidelines in women's health in practice.
• Comfortable working in a virtual setting and using online medical consultation platforms to connect with clients and manage care. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic medical record systems.
