• Regional Float locations include the following CHI Health facilities:
• Creighton University Medical Center, Bergan Mercy
• Immanuel Hospital
• Lakeside Hospital
• Lasting Hope Recovery Center (Behavioral positions only)
• Mercy Hospital - Council Bluffs, IA
• Midlands Hospital - Papillion
• This Regional Float position allows us to expedite our responsiveness to our facilities with the greatest staffing needs by deploying qualified clinicians who know our policies, procedures and core values.

• This Regional Float position will support our PCU departments.
• The Registered Nurse (RN), within their scope of practice, is responsible to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care to a designated group of healthcare consumers across the continuum.
• Provides services which encompass the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of care of the sick, prevention of disease, or conservation of health.
• The position contributes to the mission and core values of CHI Health. Floats to different campuses depending on need.
• Follow the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.
• Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze the following healthcare consumer data including: psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors.
• Administer medications accurately and safely.
• Execute accurate and thorough documentation for all patients treated.
• Keep up with Physician orders.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
• Basic Life Support is required upon hire.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required upon hire.
• Other credentials may be needed based on the level of care RN floats to.
• Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities as needed on short notice.
• 2 years of PCU experience.

Preferred

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
