Role Description

Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is offering a full-time faculty position for a diagnostic neuroradiologist to join the Division of Neuroradiology.

• Clinical fellowship in neuroradiology is required.
• The ideal candidate will have an interest in the high-level practice of diagnostic neuroradiology as part of a multi-hospital healthcare system.
• The position includes opportunities for:

  • Development of subspecialized interests including advanced MRI, spine imaging, and head and neck imaging
• This opening is a 100% neuroradiology position consisting of:
  • Reading diagnostic neuroradiology
  • Performing core neuroradiology procedures (lumbar puncture and myelography)
• The Division of Neuroradiology is currently staffed by more than 25 faculty who provide subspecialized diagnostic inpatient and outpatient clinical service across core Emory Healthcare sites.
• State-of-the-art clinical equipment is present across the enterprise.
• Extensive research facilities including dedicated research imaging equipment are available.
• Strong intra- and interdepartmental clinical and research collaborations are already in place.
• The position offers the opportunity to work with and train exceptional neuroradiology fellows (9 one-year fellow positions) and outstanding radiology residents (80 total radiology residents).
• Fully remote options are available (except from New Jersey, Hawaii, or Alaska).
• Visa sponsorship is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have completed a neuroradiology fellowship at an accredited program.
• Applicants must be ABR board-certified/eligible and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
• Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.

Requirements

• This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs.
• Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of the department.
• This role requires residency in the state of GA.
• Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
