Role Description

We are hiring a Medical Writer to work on promotional content for global pharma brands. You will write new promotional assets from a brief, with light review from a senior writer. You will write for doctors and patients, mostly for the APAC market.

• Write promotional content for pharma brands: emails, e-detailers (CLM), leave-behinds, banners, web pages, social posts, and video scripts.
• Write for doctors (HCPs) and patients, mostly for the APAC market.
• Find and read the right sources: clinical studies, prescribing information, treatment guidelines.
• Back every claim with a reference and annotate it correctly.
• Prepare files for medical, legal and regulatory (MLR) review in Veeva Vault PromoMats, and make the changes reviewers ask for.
• Adapt approved global content for local markets.
• Check your own work for accuracy, references, grammar, and consistency before you submit it.
• Work with project managers, designers, editors, and reviewers to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of medical writing, with most of it on promotional pharma content.
• Degree: MBBS, BDS, Pharm.D, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or a master's or PhD in life sciences.
• Medical writing experience with a pharma company or a healthcare communications agency.
• Hands-on promotional writing for pharma brands. You must be able to name the assets you wrote.
• At least one digital asset in your work: email, e-detailer, banner, or web page.
• Good referencing and annotation skills (AMA style).
• Clear written and spoken English and Japanese (native - mandatory).

Requirements

• Veeva Vault PromoMats experience (required for Senior Medical Writer and Medical Lead).
• Content written for the APAC market.
• Oncology experience. Other areas are also welcome: immunology, haematology, cardiology, neurology, nephrology (kidney care), vaccines, rare diseases.
• Experience writing for medical device brands.
• Can join immediately or within 45 days.
