Role Description

The Medical Staff Affairs Governance Coordinator provides full support and coordination for all Medical Boards and associated meetings, as well as assists with the maintenance of the governing documents related to the organized Medical Staff.

• Supports the Presidents of each MSHS Medical Board in the preparation, coordination, and record keeping for all Medical Board and associated meetings.
• Serves as an administrative liaison to Medical Board members and administrators to provide clerical support as it relates to assigned meetings.
• Monitors all regulatory requirements related to business items that require Medical Board approval, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
• Prepares all medical staff reports on behalf of the Medical Boards for presentation to the Board of Trustees.
• Provides support upon request with editing and maintaining the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and all associated policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as requested by members of the Medical Staff Affairs leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or other related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in supporting/coordinating large executive committee or board meetings.
• Prefer prior experience in policy writing.
• Must have excellent grammar and written communication skills.

Requirements

• Salary range: $72,473.00 - $90,591.00 Annually.
• Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
• The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
