Role Description

The Remote Medical Scribe will work closely with our chiropractors to accurately and efficiently document patient visits. This is a part-time, remote position, allowing for a flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use electronic medical record (EMR) software to document patient visits in real-time
• Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions, including medical history, physical exams, and treatment plans
• Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate, following clinic guidelines and standards
• Communicate with physicians to clarify any unclear or missing information
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a healthcare setting preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR software
• Excellent typing and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Requirements

• This is a part-time, remote position with a flexible work schedule.
• The Remote Medical Scribe will be required to work approximately 20 hours per week.
• Compensation will be based on experience.
