[Hiring] Medical Science Liaison @Autolus Therapeutics

Role Description

The MSL is responsible for scientifically engaging, collaborating and aligning with a broad range of external stakeholders to address identified patient needs and ultimately improve the practice of medicine for better patient access and outcomes.

• MSLs leverage the right evidence at the right time during their scientific engagements.
• Identify medical intelligence and opportunities that impact and inform medical scientific communication and collaboration.
• Contribute to innovative partnerships and implement relevant disease area strategies.
• Act as a strategic scientific partner, collaborating with other field colleagues (e.g., commercial, market access, HEOR, clinical research colleagues).
• Undertake an enhanced level of responsibility with highly developed expertise in the role and therapeutic area.

Qualifications

• Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical degree, Pharm.D., PhD, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or an APP (MSN/Nurse Practitioner or MS/Physician Assistant).
• Other Terminal degree in health/life sciences (preferred).
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing with a minimum of 5 years experience in patient care and/or clinical research focused on hematologic malignancies.
• Combined with 5 years of relevant industry experience focused on CAR-T therapies (acceptable).

Requirements

• Five years of MSL, or relevant industry, experience with CAR T launch experience and extensive knowledge of hematologic malignancies.
• Solid business mentality including leadership skills; innovative, solution-oriented, and critical thinking.
• Proven history of process improvement and team building.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate in an environment with little direction and produce exceptional results.
• Strong personal integrity reflected in all actions and behaviours.
