Role Description
The Organ Health Abdominal Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a key field-based scientific resource for clinicians, academic institutions, and professional organizations.

Territory: California and Hawaii (Western Territory) - Hawaii travel only a few times per year.

Candidates can live in states adjacent to California.
Primary Responsibilities:

Provide scientific and/or clinical presentations on Nateraβs Organ Health division focused on kidney transplant (Prospera) and renal genetic testing (Renasight) products.

Address the specific needs of customers by responding to requests for information about our marketed and developing products.

Serve as a medical and scientific resource for the Natera Sales and Marketing teams.

Develop, maintain, and manage interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (βKOLsβ) from the transplant and genetics communities as well as other relevant healthcare professionals.

Result review and clinical support for ordering clinicians and their teams as requested or indicated for individual samples or aggregate results.

Develop educational materials for healthcare providers and patients.

This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and has access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job.

Employees must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training, and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.

Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.

Employees must pass a post-offer criminal background check.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Professional degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, MSN, CRNP) or GC with Master's in required.

Health care professionals with relevant clinical sciences knowledge in genetics and/or organ transplantation will be considered.

Prior experience in MSL experience preferred.

Living within the geography preferred.

Experience in establishing strong, collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholder functions (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, R&D) and external customers.

Knowledge of molecular biology, immunology, and genetics helpful.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

This position works in an office environment and in the field. It requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking.

Daily use of a computer is required.

May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.

Position is in support of the field sales team with travel required (50-75%).

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location.

This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.

Remote USA: $150,000 β $175,000 USD.
