Role Description
Weβre building a new model of collaborative care for people living with chronic conditions. These are private communities that bring together people with similar phenotypes, diagnoses, age, gender, and lifestyles. Weβre looking for a physician communicator and researcher who believes itβs time to explore new approaches and recognizes that traditional healthcare often falls short when it comes to preventing chronic diseases and reducing flare-ups.
What Youβll Do

Research Health Data with AI:

Access to a unique dataset that includes:

Daily HRV measurements
-
Activity tracking data
-
Wellness journals
-
Menstrual cycle data
-
Community engagement patterns
-
Work alongside AI assistants to analyze data, identify patterns, and generate hypotheses.

Lead Clinical Education Within the Community:
-
Help community members interpret their data and create educational content.
-
Participate in group case discussions and collaborate with the medical advisory board.
-
Interact with community members on Discord, providing helpful responses.
-
Explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.
-
Provide empathy, encouragement, and human support while maintaining professional boundaries.

Publish Research:
-
Aim to produce peer-reviewed publications, including:
-
Case series
-
Observational cohort studies
-
Descriptive research
-
Eligible for co-authorship.
-
Advise the Product and Research Teams:
-
Validate analytical approaches and review medical accuracy of reports and AI-generated content.
-
Contribute to the design of health metrics and research tools.

Facilitate Community Discussions:
-
Maintain the quality and scientific integrity of discussions within the community.
-
Guide conversations in productive directions and evaluate participant-shared information.
-
Correct misconceptions and myths with tact and empathy.
Qualifications

Advanced degree in medicine, physiology, sports medicine, rehabilitation, or a related field (MD, PhD, or equivalent).

Ability to write and publish a paper in a peer-reviewed journal.

Strong written English.

Requirements
-
Experience working with wearable data (HRV, accelerometry, sleep staging).
-
Familiarity with ME/CFS, Long COVID, PEM, and POTS.
-
Experience in health data science, epidemiology, or biostatistics.
-
Publications of any kind (peer-reviewed papers, preprints, reviews).
-
Experience in community health, patient education, or telehealth.
-
Knowledge of Python, R, or SQL.
