Must live in MD, VA, DC, NC, FL, TX, MO, MS, OH, TN, AL, GA, WV, AR, IN, ID or OK

• Manage complex billing, coding, insurance inquiries, and appeals.
• Coordinate with payers, care coordinators, and clients.
• Resolve denied or underpaid claims.
• Assess patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Reverify benefits and document activities.
• Research payer medical policy and update requirements.
• Work from daily assigned reports to meet goals.
• Comply with quality monitoring and assurance tasks.
• Take inbound/outbound patient calls to provide accurate, satisfactory responses to inquiries and support access to services while maintaining confidentiality.
• Review and process documentation for patient support program eligibility.
• Additional tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of recent healthcare experience (2 years direct industry preferred).
• High volume call center experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Advanced problem-solving, research, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional data entry accuracy.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize work independently.
• Must pass a criminal background screening.
