Role Description
At REE, we connect Veterans with Providers in their navigation of their Disability Benefits. Our Medical Coordinators are the face of REE Medical for both our Clients and our Clinics. MCs coordinate all scheduling requirements between our Clients and Provider / Clinic Network across the country for physical and behavioral health disability assessments. Medical Coordinators are responsible for cultivating and maintaining a positive experience in an otherwise difficult process. They provide both Clients and our Network with excellent support and service as the liaise of scheduling. Our MCs work alongside their peers within the Medical Services Department to ensure REE Medical maintains quality providers and an excellent standard of service for our clients. This is a great entry-level role for anyone with minimum account or relationship management, customer service, or clinic-based experience looking to grow in the medical services industry.
What is expected in this Role

Serving as the Point of Contact for 40+ assigned clinics throughout the United States as the expert in schedule coordination.

Calendar owner and coordinator for various clinics, ensuring proper alignment of schedules for all parties.

Understanding various demographic requirements and resources available.

Identifying and matching clients with providers within targeted departmental goals.

Ensuring appointments or assessments can be scheduled within set timeline targets.

Supporting various provider or clinic change requests.

Serving as the external client expert in relation to scheduling of exams for clients with REE network providers and clinics.

Answering and directing calls within a timely manner and returning voicemails within established departmental timelines.

Maintaining and organizing the shared team email inbox.

Ensuring all processes and procedures related to Compliance and Clinics are followed.

Safeguarding personally identifiable information / personal health information across different communications.

Serving as a Point of Contact with various internal departments related to scheduling of exams and wait times for Veteran Clients.
Qualifications
-
1+ years of experience in client experience, scheduling, project coordination, clinic operations, or other related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and navigating multiple platforms including Salesforce, ZoHo, Slack, Teams, etc.

Previous experience in the medical industry is a Plus!

Previous experience operating in a data-driven environment, reporting on daily activities is a Plus!

Previous experience working with the Veteran community or within the VA regulations is a Plus!

Comfortability being on the phone whether sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations.

Proactive thinking, consistently foreseeing and preparing for forthcoming challenges or opportunities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for facilitating effective collaboration across various departments and levels of the organization.

Expert level attention to detail.

Experience in start-up or early-stage environments with little or no defined infrastructure or processes.

High school diploma or equivalent required. A.S., B.A., B.S. degrees are a Plus!
