Role Description

We’re looking for a Remote Medical Biller to join our growing team at The Coordinators! You’d be working remotely with our client in the Rheumatology space.

In this role, you will own the billing function end-to-end, managing insurance claims, denials, reconciliations, and revenue cycle workflows while ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement. Working within Elation Health, you’ll:

• Submit and track claims
• Resolve denials
• Reconcile accounts
• Help eliminate billing backlogs
• Collaborate closely with the office manager to improve billing operations

This is a highly analytical, detail-oriented role requiring strong ownership, problem-solving, and follow-through.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in medical billing (required)
• Strong understanding of insurance workflows, denials, reconciliation, and revenue cycle management
• Experience with Elation Health (preferred) or another medical EHR/practice management system
• Ability to independently manage the full medical billing workflow
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional accuracy in billing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to investigate and resolve billing issues logically
• Comfortable working U.S. business hours when needed to communicate with insurance companies
• Self-directed and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and spoken English with professional communication
• Tech-savvy and effective in a remote work environment
• High integrity and ability to handle sensitive patient information
• High ethical standards, professionalism, and respect in all patient interactions
• Willingness to learn, grow, and develop yourself professionally

Requirements

• Location: Remote (Contractor)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, aligned with clinic hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST)
• Pay Range: $900 – $1,100 per month (depending on experience)
• Equipment: BYO devices
