Role Description

The MDS Completion Specialist is responsible for accurately completing and reviewing Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments in accordance with CMS and RAI Manual guidelines. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to ensure compliance and accuracy in all MDS submissions. The position is fully remote and focuses primarily on accurate coding and completion of MDS assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete and review MDS assessments accurately and within required timelines.
• Code all MDS sections in compliance with RAI Manual guidelines.
• Apply thorough knowledge of the RAI Manual when completing assessments.
• Perform accurate recoding and auditing of MDS sections as needed to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CMS regulations, RAI updates, and MDS 3.0/3.01 changes.
• Support accurate reimbursement and quality reporting through precise MDS data entry.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MDS completion and coding.
• Strong working knowledge of the RAI Manual and MDS guidelines.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficient in using EMR systems and MDS software platforms.
