Role Description

The Award Winning Speech Momi LLC, a staple in the therapeutic community, is growing its online Counseling team. Under the direction and supervision of Speech Momi's Director, the Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Counselor assists in supplementing, enhancing, and extending mental health services by completing a variety of tasks such as, but not limited to, direct counseling with clients designed to develop and enhance wellness and academic progress.

• Conducts wellness and disability related screenings, using the protocols developed by the supervising Director;
• Provides direct counseling and specialized support to students in grades Pre-K to 12th;
• Follows and implements documented academic treatment plans while monitoring client progress;
• Assists other multidisciplinary teams during the peak of client reviews and intakes/assessments;
• Adapts or modifies mental health materials as determined by the targeted treatment objectives;
• Assists in maintaining client records, tallying data, preparing charts, records, graphs, and reports;
• Assists in sharing online multidisciplinary input with requesting families and medical practitioners;
• Implements behavior management programs as designed by certified ABA/Neuro staff;
• Attends online clinical team meetings on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree from an Accredited Counseling program.

Requirements

• Current registration with a Board as a Certified School Psychologist or Licensed Counselor.

Knowledge of

• Developmental norms, learning tools, instructional equipment, materials, and procedures;
• Expressive, receptive and cognitive disorders;
• Learning patterns in both children and adults;
• Behavior management techniques and strategies;
• Routine record keeping.
