[Hiring] IONM Neurologist - Interpreting Physician @MPOWERHealth

Role Description

MPOWERHealth is seeking a board-certified Neurologist with expertise in neurophysiology to join our remote neuromonitoring team. As an integral part of our organization, you will provide real-time interpretation of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) studies to help optimize patient care across the country.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation of intraoperative neuromonitoring data and communicate findings directly to surgical teams.
• Correlate electrophysiological findings with the patient’s clinical status to support surgical decision-making.
• Conduct comprehensive post-operative case reviews and complete detailed reports.
• Contribute to quality assurance and improvement efforts to maintain high standards of neuromonitoring services.
• Maintain current knowledge of advancements and best practices in neuromonitoring.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Neurologist with expertise in electrophysiology.
• Fellowship in intraoperative neuromonitoring required; a doctorate in the field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of intraoperative neuromonitoring modalities (e.g., SSEPs, MEPs, BAERs, EMG).
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative care.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Prior experience in IONM is strongly preferred.
