The Inpatient Hospital Coding Manager will be responsible for:

• Staff management
• Coding inventory management
• Meeting departmental KPI's and goals

Qualifications

• Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training
• Related experience: Leadership of a coding team, supervisory experience, hospital coding experience in an academic medical center setting, coaching, training, mentoring coders
• Solid supervisory and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Solid knowledge of human resources management policies
• Thorough knowledge of revenue cycle management practices and concepts
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Solid interpersonal skills and persuasiveness
• Collaboration skills to work effectively with management across the medical center
• Skilled in written and verbal communications
• Strong project management skills
• In-depth knowledge of all relevant information technology

Requirements

• CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification (preferred)
• Epic and Solventum (3M) 360 experience (preferred)
• Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs
• Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical

Benefits

• Annual Full Pay Range: $100,100 - $187,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
• Hourly Equivalent: $47.94 - $89.80
• Factors in determining the appropriate compensation include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs
