Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Healthcare Virtual Assistant to support administrative operations and patient coordination for a growing healthcare practice. As the Healthcare Virtual Assistant, you will:

• Assist with appointment scheduling
• Manage patient communication
• Verify insurance
• Support billing
• Manage medical records
• Coordinate healthcare administrative workflows

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential for success in this role. Candidates with previous healthcare administrative experience and familiarity with EHR systems—particularly Kareo Clinical—are highly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a medical administrative, healthcare support, or virtual assistant role
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Professional and patient-focused communication style
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality when handling patient information
• Comfortable managing multiple administrative tasks in a remote environment

Requirements

• Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly
• Must have relevant work experience
• Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding (mandatory)
• Must be available for video meetings with your camera on (when needed)
