Role Description

We are currently seeking a Reimbursement Manager to join our firm-wide Healthcare Advisory practice. This position is open to qualified candidates anywhere within our geographic footprint.

As a Reimbursement Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of our clients in the healthcare sector. You will be responsible for:

• Preparing and overseeing Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
• Providing analysis of various reimbursement projects which may include Medicare DSH, Medicaid DSH, Wage Index, Occupational Mix, IME, GME and Worksheet S-10 engagements.
• Monitoring engagement status and budget requirements for profitable and timely completion of assigned reimbursement projects.
• Planning, developing strategies, and supervising Reimbursement Associates in all phases of cost report engagements.
• Managing and collaborating with clients to develop strategic reimbursement plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Researching regulatory issues that arise during engagements.
• Identifying opportunities and delivering recommendations to clients to assist them with making strategic reimbursement decisions.
• Building relationships with clients and community contacts to contribute to the overall marketing efforts of the Firm.
• Working cross-functionally with other members of the healthcare consulting practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Healthcare Consulting, Reimbursement, or Cost Reporting.
• Strong mentoring, leadership, and training skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to oversee, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
