• Inpatient coding across all surgical and medical specialties including, but not limited to:
• Academic institution coding experience
• Burns
• All transplants
• Cardiology
• Pulmonology
• Neuro
• Ortho
• Spine procedures

Qualifications

• A valid credential from AHIMA (RHIA, RHIT, or CCS).
• Demonstrated proficiency in medical coding, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in inpatient and/or observation coding and charging within an acute care setting.
• Coding experience with inpatient and/or observation coding and charging.

Requirements

• Demonstrated coding experience with inpatient coding.
• Proficient skill with computers and computer systems.
• Epic & 3M 360 CAC.
• Trauma level I.
• Academic Facility Coding.
• Three to five (3 - 5) years coding experience with proven knowledge of inpatient/outpatient/surgery/emergency room records with RHIT/RHIA/CCS credential.

Benefits

• Annual Full Pay Range: $105,528 - $131,210 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
• Hourly Equivalent: $50.54 - $62.84
