Role Description

Labcorp is seeking a Global Monitor (Clinical Trial Monitor) to join our team at Yeshwantpur in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This is a remote-based position with a work schedule of 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

In the Global Monitor role, you will be assigned a portfolio of clinical studies. Responsibilities include:

• Identifying study risks and developing mitigation plans with internal teams when a new study starts.
• Looking for issues in study data and suggesting actions to rectify and prevent those issues.
• Putting in place customized, study-specific monitoring packages based on study needs.
• Understanding which laboratory samples are at risk for not being resulted on time.
• Choosing the best monitoring offerings suited for study needs.
• Writing clear monitoring instructions for handoff to another part of the team.
• Ensuring compliance with the CCLS Global Project Management strategy.
• Delivering outstanding performance and customer satisfaction.

In more detail, you will:

• Be accountable for the monitoring and reporting of clinical study laboratory metrics.
• Extract information from multiple data sources, converting raw data into meaningful insights.
• Present key findings to all stakeholders (internal and external).
• Perform risk assessments on low complexity studies in coordination with the Global Study Manager and the Study Design Lead.
• Utilize analytics/visualizations to review study laboratory data and identify issues.
• Liaise with Developers to ensure monitoring tools are developed to client specifications.
• Ensure regular communication with key stakeholders.
• Support Risk Management Plan creation and ongoing maintenance.
• Participate actively in Labcorp development through continuous process improvements.
• Act efficiently in an environment with dynamic timelines and priorities.
• Participate in functional meetings and provide input to keep processes up to date.
• Comply with internal strategy.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or PhD in a scientific field.
• 10 years of related experience in project management, data analysis for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry (education can substitute for work experience).

• Ability to create and motivate a team around project deliverables.
• Strong working proficiency in English.
