[Hiring] Functional Assessor @Ingeus

Role Description

As a Functional Assessor, you'll continue to utilise your clinical expertise, maintain your registration, and enjoy a better work-life balance. If you have a minimum of 12 months' post-registration experience and have been practising as a clinician throughout the last year, we'd love to hear from you.

• Liaising directly with claimants, using active listening and questioning skills to obtain additional evidence where needed in order to complete the assessment.
• Liaising with clinical peers across the NHS and private healthcare sector, charities, and support organisations to obtain and evaluate evidence that assists in the production of detailed assessment reports.
• Triaging cases to determine the assessment route a case will take.
• Conducting initial case reviews, file work and paper-based assessments.
• Applying critical thinking and logical reasoning to produce accurate and detailed reports on each case.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered Adult Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or HCPC-registered Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics or GPHC-registered Pharmacists.
• Excellent communication & critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to type and confidence using computers.

Requirements

• To be eligible for this fully remote role, you must live outside of London, Essex, and the South East of England.
• Starting Salary: £42,985.
• Full time Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.
• Further salary uplifts as you learn new specialist skills from year 2.
• Up to 10% quarterly discretionary bonus.
