Role Description

Are you someone who thrives on precision and loves working with numbers? We're looking for talented Medical Billing Specialists to join our team and make a significant impact on the financial vitality of our healthcare practice!

• Bill primary and secondary claims.
• New accounts are scrubbed (all data is verified and confirmed that it is entered correctly).
• All claims are scrubbed to ensure codes and # units are billed correctly.
• Electronic claims are batched and sent through the clearinghouse.
• Rejected claims are checked, corrected, and re-billed.
• Paper claims are printed, along with any additional documentation, and mailed.
• Un-billable claims are sent back to FD with notes regarding what is needed and that once received back, corrected claims are billed.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits for physical therapy services, including eligibility, copays, deductibles, and any pre-authorization requirements.
• Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to obtain and clarify insurance information.
• Ensure all insurance verification information is accurately documented in patient records and billing systems.

Qualifications

• Must have solid experience as a Medical Biller.
• Knowledgeable in medical coding and experienced with healthcare billing systems.
• Must have experience working for US hospitals or Private Doctor Practice.
• Knowledgeable about insurance verification.
• Ability to speak and write English proficiently.
• Happy and Helpful by nature.
