Role Description

The Department of Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking an ABR-Certified or ABR-Eligible Radiologist to join its Emergency Radiology Division as a full-time faculty member. This unique academic opportunity offers a 7-on, 21-off overnight schedule, with nine-hour shifts providing Emergency Department coverage from anywhere in the United States. The successful candidate will work remotely as part of a collaborative team of attending radiologists and residents while contributing to the delivery of high-quality imaging care in a major academic medical center.

Schedule & Flexibility

• 10-hour overnight shifts: 9:00 PM–7:00 AM EST
• 7 nights on / 21 nights off
• Opportunity to extend shift hours based on availability and departmental needs
• Option to interpret outpatient and inpatient studies at competitive moonlighting rates

Clinical Responsibilities

The Emergency Radiologist will primarily interpret imaging studies for the Emergency Department, including:

• CT (Body and Neuro), Ultrasound, Radiographs. Neuro MRI is a plus
• Unconventional exams performed in the ED are given preliminary reads and subsequently read by subspecialists the next day

Compensation

• $550,000 base salary
• Additional generous quarterly wRVU-based incentives
