Role Description
The Drug Information Manager serves as a critical member of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) team, responsible for managing and delivering accurate, evidence-based drug information to support formulary development and clinical decision-making.

Ensure the integrity of drug monographs, therapeutic class reviews, and formulary documentation while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate closely with clinical, financial, and operational teams to align formulary decisions with organizational goals.

Provide subject matter expertise for rebate strategies and client communications.

Research, analyze, and synthesize clinical data to develop formulary recommendations and support P&T Committee activities.

Monitor FDA approvals, safety alerts, and pipeline developments, ensuring timely updates to formulary content.

Communicate complex clinical information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required

Active Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license in good standing required

Completion of a Drug Information or Managed Care Pharmacy residency preferred

Advanced training or certification in pharmacotherapy, formulary management, or evidence-based medicine preferred
Requirements

Minimum 3β5 years of experience in drug information, formulary management, or managed care pharmacy required

Hands-on experience preparing and presenting clinical content for Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committees required

Strong background in evidence-based medicine and clinical literature evaluation required

Experience in managed care organizations, PBMs, or GPOs preferred

Exposure to cost-effectiveness analysis and integration of clinical insights with financial considerations preferred

Prior involvement in pipeline monitoring and formulary strategy development preferred

Experience collaborating with analytics and finance teams for rebate and formulary optimization preferred
Benefits

$120,000-125,000 per year.
