[Hiring] Dispensing Pharmacy Technician @American Oncology Network

Role Description

Under the supervision of the Dispensing Operations Pharmacist, will be responsible for the dispensing of oral oncology medications for the patients of the Company. Responsibilities include:

• Accurately counting and filling oral oncology medications
• Ordering/stocking of medications and supplies
• Packing/shipping of medications

Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current, unrestricted Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) required (FL)
• Five years’ experience in specialty, retail, or hospital pharmacy as a pharmacy technician preferred
• Critical thinking skills including solid problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management, and organizational skills
• Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness
• Good command of the English language; second language is an asset but not required
• Strong customer focus with the ability to build an engaging culture of quality and performance effectiveness
• Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development
• Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred

• Ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites
• Self-motivated and self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to work remotely effectively as required

Benefits

• Standard Core Workdays/Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional overtime may be required
• Weekend shifts based on location hours and operational needs
