[Hiring] Director / Senior Director, Clinical Data Management @Astera Search

Role Description

A well-established, secure and commercially active biopharma is building out its US clinical data management team. This is a senior leadership role that will oversee the build-out of a fully in-house function.

• Lead the clinical data management function for the oncology portfolio
• Build and develop the new US CDM team
• Oversee all in-house database build and data management operations
• Lead development of data management plans, CRFs, edit checks, and data transfer specifications
• Own internal data review activities and audit strategies across active studies
• Ensure inspection readiness of data systems and study documentation
• Support regulatory interactions and associated data deliverables

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences, Health Informatics, or a related discipline
• Extensive CDM experience within pharma or biopharma; oncology background required
• Demonstrable experience working directly for a sponsor company
• Strong working knowledge of EDC platforms (e.g., Rave, Oracle Clinical)
• Proven leadership within a CDM function
• East Coast based only

Requirements

• Compensation DOE - $240,000 - $280,000 base salary + benefits
