Role Description

Our Real World Evidence team is hiring a Director to lead teams of research professionals conducting client studies in the pharmacy and biotech space; operating as a thought leader, problem solver and consultative expert.
As a Director reporting into a Vice President at PRECISIONAQ, you will be overseeing multiple projects comprised of cross functional staff; serving as the project manager and primary client contact on the project.

Oversee observational and retrospective data analyses.

Clearly explain the rationale, methods/results, and strategy for studies to project teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

Understand strengths and limitations of alternative approaches and propose applications/solutions of new or existing methods tailored to a specific research question.

Ensure overall quality; develop recommendations based on expected impact.

Communicate risks and opportunities to ensure staff alignment.

Assume the role of final decision maker able to overturn decisions and take accountability for outcomes.

Accountable for timely delivery and financial performance across projects.

Review and sign off on deliverables as client ready including protocols, statistical analysis plans, technical reports, and slides.

Identify necessary deviations from templates to ensure content aligns with objectives.

Provide final sign-off on update slides/minutes and actions for overall study.

Own relationships with clients and be viewed as subject matter expert.

Act as advisor on client calls and in responses to emails.

Proactively manage client expectations and work with team members to implement strategies to problem solve on a client or project-basis.

Participate in business development, sales calls, leading study conceptualization, and drafting proposals for clients.

Ensure appropriate staffing and create development plans for direct reports.
Qualifications

8-10 years of experience, at least four in a consulting environment.

Masterβs degree in a subject related to health services research e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health.

Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a diverse team.

Awareness and understanding of financial performance on projects.

Ability to line-manage and mentor direct reports and ensure positive staff wellbeing/team dynamic.
Helpful Experience
-
PhD in a subject related to health services research e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health.

Willingness and desire to learn and share knowledge.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Pays attention to detail and performs quality checks of own work and that of others.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Highly developed reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Requirements

Compensation range: $140,000 β $180,000 USD.
-
This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
