Role Description

As the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Residency Program Director at Blackbird Health, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of pediatric psychiatric care providers. Reporting to the VP of Medical Services, you'll lead the development, implementation, and management of our PMHNP Residency Program; building a structured, accredited training pathway that prepares recent graduates to practice with confidence as specialists in child and adolescent mental health.

• Create the curriculum and mentor residents through their clinical journey.
• Ensure residents are equipped with the skills and support needed to provide cutting-edge diagnosis and treatment in an interdisciplinary outpatient model.
• This is a fully remote opportunity.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• PMHNP-BC certification.
• Active PMHNP/APRN license in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Maryland.
• At least 3 years of experience as a CRNP and 1 year in an educational or leadership role in a behavioral health setting.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in pediatric psychiatry.
• Demonstrated ability to train, develop, and motivate a team of medical professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and growing environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to behavioral health services and residency program accreditation.
