Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all healthcare providers within our network are properly credentialed and enrolled with insurance companies and government agencies. This is a full-time, remote position that offers the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and re-credentialing applications for healthcare providers
• Verify and maintain accurate provider information in credentialing databases
• Monitor and track credentialing and re-credentialing timelines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve any credentialing issues or discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of credentialing processes
• Stay updated on industry changes and regulations related to credentialing and provider enrollment
• Maintain confidentiality of all provider information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in credentialing and provider enrollment
• Knowledge of credentialing and enrollment processes for various insurance companies and government agencies
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credentialing databases
