Responsibilities and Authority

• Provides clinical and product education to Healthcare Professionals on the full portfolio of LivaNova Cardiopulmonary products.
• Conducts training sessions in person or virtually, aligning with all approved instructions for use.
• Coordinates hospital clinical and non-clinical demonstrations, in-person and virtual education programs, intra-operative case coverage, supporting product evaluations and ad hoc training when needed.
• Works independently but remains highly collaborative with team and company stakeholders (sales).
• Manages internal stakeholders and time effectively.

Primary Activities

• Provides clinicians and medical staff clear clinical instructions to ensure continuity of education and support related to all aspects of patient outcomes.
• Coordinates, directs, and delivers clinical training programs on LivaNova products.
• Develops and maintains product knowledge excellence of the LivaNova CP portfolio of products.
• Professionally integrates into all accounts building trust and relationships with customers.
• Collaborates weekly with key internal stakeholders for installations and evaluations.
• Maintains a positive, proactive, customer service manner during stressful situations.
• Fosters high trust relationships with customers and all LivaNova team members.
• Takes a positive, proactive approach to solving complex clinical/therapy/technical problems.
• Foresees obstacles and plans accordingly for seamless execution.
• Assists Account Executives in urgent clinical needs and related product information.
• Adheres to all regulatory and LivaNova policies to ensure patient safety and company responsibility.
• Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of assigned accounts and customers.
• Supports evaluations and sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities within accounts.
• Provides feedback to providers on directions for use specific to the product.
• Attends trade shows/conferences/congresses to maintain clinical expertise and current market state.
• Meets all requirements and maintains credentialing status to access accounts.
• Provides sales support on clinical in-services, training, and guidance to customers.
• Maintains positive and cooperative communications with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Collaborates with regional and global marketing teams on ongoing projects.
• Contributes to the development of all education programs both internally and externally.
• Supports training of the sales team for new hires and product launches.
• Acts as a team player with a strong ability to collaborate across teams within LivaNova.

Travel Requirements

• Ability to travel primarily domestically (up to 80%) and be available for off hours, urgent issue resolution.
• Non-travel work from home weeks will be assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications (Universal)

• Perfusion education, current or history of Certified Clinical Perfusionist Certification or Licensure is required with a minimum of 5 years of clinical practice.
• Ability and desire to teach.
• Works well within teams both cross-functionally and across different locations.
• Project management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Self-confidence and effectiveness in dealing with a wide variety of customer types.
• Highly effective at working both independently and as part of a large-scale collaborative team.
• Possesses a high energy level and a high degree of interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills to execute virtual programs and presentations.
• Desire and ability to participate and motivate others in team efforts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams/Zoom.
• Sits 80%, stands/walks 20%.
• Repetitive use on computer.
• Lifts 0-50 lbs.
• Ability to understand scientific facts and communicate them effectively.
• Oral and written comprehension.
• Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements.
• Availability to work weekends when needed.
• Travel within the US and abroad.

Pay Transparency

A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $145,000- $160,000 + discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location.
