Role Description
Weβre looking for Pharmacist to join our PharmScript team within our Shared Service department. In this role, youβll provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care through routine and emergency drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the facilities. Youβll primarily be responsible for managing successful outcomes, ensuring that standards are maintained, policies carried out and objectives accomplished.

Execute day-to-day operations in the pharmacy as they pertain to workflow, production quotas and deadlines.

Clarification review to determine the appropriateness of resolve, executing clinical judgement to either process the order or assign to applicable departments.

Respond to multi-media (Telephony, Mediprocity & Email) communication escalations for clinical or IV questions, delivery issues, Assisted Living, NarcCode / STAT / Psychiatric / Pediatric / LRP / RCO and/or Facility Pay requests and MD paging.

Sustain high-quality communications by ensuring RPh support is appropriately present to address all inbound customer contact across all channels.

Process Admission Alerts, check overnight the Admissions dashboard for all remote pharmacy locations; triage orders received in the ERX folders or Docutrack.

Maintain proficiency in handling and processing of orders for all areas of discipline within pharmacy workflow including orders related to legend drugs, narcotics, IVs, psychiatric & pediatric orders, and assisted living orders.

Periodically work on-site at the pharmacy in response to increased workflow and need for additional RPh resources.

Possess a pleasant demeanor, problem-solving skills, and take ownership of escalated issues.

Maintain a high level of facility satisfaction, keeping Client Services and leadership apprised of account status changes.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal rules and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy.

Ensure compliance with all DEA policies and procedures and follow all applicable government regulations.

Willing to acquire licensure in the states that PharmScript operates in.
Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

Current license to practice pharmacy in NJ or IN.

Ability to obtain multiple state licensure.

Proficient in the area of clinical interpretation: drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions, and allergies.

1+ years of experience in a retail Pharmacy setting.

Ability to work with a variety of technical applications.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
