[Hiring] Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) @AIOS (YC W20/S21)

Role Description

We are building a world-class team at AIOS Tech (Bolt Pharmacy), working towards the world's first full-stack AI doctor. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will join our growing team of Independent Prescribers, focusing on GLP-1 weight-management consultations. Your role will involve:

• Delivering safe, evidence-based GLP-1 prescribing for every patient on your list.
• Taking full ownership of the clinical quality, safety, and accuracy of your consultations and records.
• Flagging anything that needs escalating—red flags, near misses, or protocol gaps—clearly and quickly.
• Following and helping to sharpen our clinical protocols as they evolve.

This role is suited to a confident, forward-thinking prescriber with sound clinical judgment, excellent attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient safety. Great performance means your patients are safe, your records hold up to audit, and you're working through a full, steady caseload without cutting corners.

This is an ongoing contractor engagement - full-time (40h) preferred, part-time (20h+) available - fully remote/WFH or hybrid onsite in Blackburn. You’ll report directly to your team lead.

Qualifications

• GPhC-registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) annotation, held for at least 1 year.
• Experience in prescribing weight-management GLP-1s or a closely related area.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confident patient counseling.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume, protocol-led environment.
• Confident using electronic health records and remote consultation platforms.

Requirements

• Ability to think clearly and quickly within a protocol-led service.
• Strong safety mindset; patient safety and quality are non-negotiable.
• Willingness to support evening or weekend rotas when needed.
• Experience with asynchronous, telephone, and/or video consultations is a plus.

Training and Onboarding

Training is delivered completely remotely, with a minimum duration of 2 days. Scheduling is negotiable based on experience and prior exposure to GLP-1 prescribing or digital health services. Ongoing mentoring and support are provided throughout your induction and practice.
