Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Pharmacist in Charge, the Clinical Nurse Educator, Staff Development is responsible for:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating an organized program for staff education directed toward the achievement of professional excellence.
• Serving as the primary contact person for nursing, professional, and support services staff education.
• Creating professional education resources and instructional leadership for outreach programs directed to health care professionals.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse required.
• Minimum 5 years in pharmacy or healthcare environment.
• Recent nursing experience with clinical focus preferred.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interpret medical data essential.
• Ability to function independently, attend to detail, work under pressure, and prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong public relations abilities; professional appearance, attitude, and motivation essential.

Benefits

• Compensation Range: $85,000 - $100,000/yr (DOE).
• Schedule: (Virtual) Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm CST with light flexibility.
• Travel: Up to 25% - 35% for various conferences, in-person trainings, etc.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 20 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• Generally operates in a clerical office setting.
• Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
• May travel by automobile and be exposed to changing weather conditions.
