[Hiring] Clinical Integrations Interface Analyst @Mosaic Health

Role Description

The Clinical Integrations Interface Analyst is responsible for the analysis, development, implementation, monitoring, and support of healthcare data interfaces that enable reliable exchange of clinical and operational information across systems. This role partners with clinical, operational, product, engineering, and vendor teams to translate integration requirements into scalable interface solutions. The analyst supports interoperability between electronic health record (EHR) systems, laboratory and diagnostic platforms, health information exchanges, third-party clinical applications, and internal technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Interface Development & Implementation
  • Analyze business, clinical, and technical requirements for new healthcare integrations.
  • Design, configure, test, implement, and maintain interfaces between clinical systems and external partners.
  • Develop and support interfaces using healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 v2, FHIR, CDA/CCD, X12, and APIs.
  • Perform interface mapping, transformation, filtering, routing, and data validation.
  • Configure and support interface engines and integration platforms.
  • Coordinate interface testing, including unit testing, integrated testing, user acceptance testing, and production validation.
  • Support new customer, partner, facility, and vendor implementations from requirements gathering through go-live.
• Production Support & Monitoring
  • Monitor interface queues, message processing, system alerts, and data exchange performance.
  • Investigate and resolve failed, delayed, duplicated, or incorrectly formatted messages.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for integration incidents and implement corrective and preventive solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues across source systems, interface engines, APIs, networks, and receiving applications.
  • Coordinate resolution of complex interface issues with internal engineering teams, EHR vendors, laboratories, health systems, and other external partners.
  • Participate in production support and incident-management processes as required.
• Clinical Data & Workflow Analysis
  • Understand clinical workflows and how data moves between healthcare applications.
  • Analyze HL7 message structures and clinical data elements, including:
    • ADT
    • ORM
    • ORU
    • SIU
    • MDM
    • DFT
    • ACK
  • Validate patient demographics, encounters, providers, orders, results, diagnoses, medications, and other clinical information across integrated systems.
  • Identify data-quality issues and work with stakeholders to establish appropriate remediation processes.
  • Ensure integrations support downstream clinical and operational workflows accurately and consistently.
• Integration Documentation & Governance
  • Develop and maintain interface specifications, data mappings, workflow diagrams, testing documentation, configuration records, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of interfaces, endpoints, dependencies, and integration configurations.
  • Document implementation decisions, known limitations, and operational support procedures.
  • Follow established change-management, release-management, security, and integration governance processes.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable interface standards, implementation templates, and integration best practices.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration
  • Serve as a technical liaison between clinical operations, product teams, engineering teams, customers, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate interface discovery and technical requirements discussions.
  • Communicate technical issues and integration concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate interface implementation activities, testing schedules, production cutovers, and post-go-live validation.
  • Manage technical dependencies and escalate risks that may affect implementation timelines or production stability.

Compensation Range

$77,417.00 to $116,126.00. The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
