[Hiring] Clinical Informatics Technical Architect @Providence

Role Description

The Clinical Informatics Technical Architect provides technical and editorial support to the Education Specialist team in the development and maintenance of Epic Learning Resources using MadCap Flare. Primary responsibilities include:

• Editing, updating, and organizing learning topics and learning packages to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established content standards.
• Ongoing support activities such as content remediation and cleanup within Flare.

This position requires strong written communication and proofreading skills. Prior experience with MadCap Flare is not required, as training will be provided; however, previous exposure to Flare or comparable content authoring tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 or more years in a position that has the same or similar primary duties working with a clinical information system within a healthcare setting.
• Experience with EHR systems.
• Experience with benefits and challenges of adult learning.

Requirements

• Informatics certifications or credentialing (may be equivalent for up to 2 years of experience for this position at the hiring manager’s discretion) upon hire.
