Role Description

Immediate need for a talented Case Manager. This is a 09 Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in CA (Remote).

• First 2 weeks need to be in office (might be only a few days).
• Heavy writing and speaking with customers over the phone.
• Member complaint and grievance processing preferred.
• Competent working knowledge of client Health Plan benefits plan/contracts/systems strongly preferred.
• Expected Shift: M-F Normal business hours 8:30-5pm PST with opportunities for overtime 5 hours/week. Possibly weekends as required depending on operational need.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 6 years customer service experience.
• 4 years in healthcare and 7 years in total experience required.
• Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency.
• Letter writing and customer service skills are important.

Requirements

• Ramp up period: 90 days, ideally no vacations (1 or 2 days is okay).
• Equipment: Aruba router, CPU/laptop, 1 monitor (with laptop), 2 monitors for CPU.
• Hardwire this, so desk is required at home.
