Role: Care Assistant

Location: Birmingham

Hours: 48 hour shift, sleep nights. 4 days off

Payrate: £12.71 sleep nights, £13.00 days

You’ll care for an adult in Birmingham working a 48 hour shift with sleep nights, then you will have 4 days off, providing safe and consistent care in their own home. They live with a spinal cord injury and require support with their day-to-day routine and activities. Beyond their clinical needs, they enjoy sports, movies, and social activities, and you’ll help them enjoy the things that matter most to them safely.

With nurse-led oversight, individualised clinical training, and the wider Komplex Group behind you, you’ll provide the standard of care you’d want for your own family.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence
• Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
• The ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently
• Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping
• A genuine commitment to safe, person-centred care

Requirements

• Providing personal care, medication, and clinical interventions
• Monitoring clinical observations and recognising deterioration
• Maintaining accurate records and escalating concerns immediately
