Role Description

This role involves providing nursing support for health service providers via phone in various areas including but not necessarily limited to:

• Telephonic nurse triage services
• Providing education to patients, deploying best practices and standard workflow in their daily activities
• Applying expertise across various areas of responsibility
• Understanding how interactions with patients affect customer satisfaction and making recommendations to improve processes
• Applying established protocols, criteria, and contract guidelines
• Coordinating the team approach to management of patient care
• Analyzing, investigating, and resolving individual care quality, coordination of care, service, and access issues
• Contacting patients and providers regarding clinical needs for continuity of care

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (or higher)
• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of residence
• RN license in the state of Pennsylvania or a Compact State license
• 3+ years of related experience in a clinical, managed healthcare, or healthcare setting

Requirements

• 2+ years of clinical triage in either an ED, Urgent care, or ICU setting (preferred)
• Excellent understanding of health-service related processes relevant to assigned role and responsibilities (preferred)
• Proven and solid interpersonal skills, and high level of computer literacy (soft skills)

The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.94 to $51.83 per hour based on full-time employment.
