Role Description

The Bio-analytical Scientist will be part of the Global Product Industrialization function and will be responsible for the development of analytical methods for protein-based products.

• Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and execute analytical methods for protein-based products.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in chemical/biochemical laboratory working with protein-based products, or 5 years of experience in the case of candidates holding a PhD.
• Degree in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the main analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation (including software):
• Chromatographic techniques using UV, ELSD, MALS and fluorescence detectors
• SDS-PAGE
• Capillary electrophoresis
• Immunochemical techniques such as Western blotting and ELISA
• Enzymatic reactions
• UV spectroscopy
• Mass spectrometry techniques
• Data analysis and statistical evaluation.
