Role Description
Our company has been committed to advancing science for the treatment and prevention of HIV for more than 35 years. The HIV Business Unit is rapidly growing, with multiple marketed products, an investigational asset in late-stage development, and a robust research pipeline. We are seeking four strategic, field-based healthcare professionals with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex healthcare ecosystems and build meaningful relationships across a diverse stakeholder landscape, to join the US HIV Marketing Team as Regional Clinical Liaison.
The anticipated territories will broadly cover the West, Central, Northeast, and Southeast regions of the United States; however, final territory boundaries and assignments will be determined once the full RCL team is in place and based on evolving business needs.
Reporting to Director, Scientific Strategy & Marketing Product Owner – HIV Treatments, this is a critical field-based role that will help shape scientific advocacy, Key Opinion Leaders and Medical Opinion Leaders engagement, congress execution, and the integration of KOL insights into brand planning and cross-functional go-to-market activities.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Serve as field-based Regional Clinical Liaisons for HIV Treatments, providing approved, on-label scientific and clinical expertise to HCPs, National/Regional KOL/MOL, Key Decision Makers, and other appropriate stakeholders.

Expand Our Company's regional scientific presence by supporting practical translation of approved clinical evidence, treatment individualization concepts, and labeled product information.

Create a disciplined regional feedback loop that helps headquarters understand KOL influence networks, customer beliefs, resource gaps, and practical barriers to engagement or adoption.

Sales & Congress Engagement – Attend key sales meetings and national congresses, as needed.

Compliance & Standards – Operate in full compliance with our company policies and standards.
Core accountabilities

National / Regional KOL/MOL and KDMs engagement: Build consistent, compliant relationships with prioritized national/regional KOLs/MOLs, clinical leaders, regional societies, key influencers, and selected KDMs.

Approved scientific exchange: Provide disease and product education using approved resources and ensure all external engagements are consistent with labeling and applicable field policies.

Regional influence mapping: Validate KOL/MOL targets, identify regional/local influence networks, and share approved insights with Scientific Strategy leadership and relevant cross-functional partners.

Resource utilization and feedback: Use approved materials, gather structured feedback on what resonates, and identify gaps in training, resources, or scientific support needs.

Regional congress and community presence: Support local and regional congresses, community events, and field engagement opportunities where scientific credibility and clinical depth are needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with field Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to ensure alignment on SL needs and account dynamics.

Customer insights: Gather actionable insights from SLs to inform marketing strategies and brand planning.

Compliance stewardship: Operate with high autonomy while maintaining strict adherence to field policy letters, approved content, labeling, ethical standards, and all applicable Company standards and policies.
Qualifications

Advanced clinical degree (PharmD, DNP/NP/PA); US residency/fellowship training preferred where applicable.

Board certification or equivalent clinical specialization (infectious diseases, internal medicine, pharmacy practice, or related).

Current US professional licensure/credentialing appropriate to the role.

Minimum 4 years clinical experience in the US, ideally including direct HIV clinical care, HIV-focused public health experience, or HIV-related pharmacy experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a medical business-related role partnering with commercial teams.

Clinical, research, or public-health experience in HIV prevention or treatment.

Experience engaging community-based organizations and providers serving populations disproportionately affected by HIV.

Track record representing an organization at professional meetings.

Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $173,200.00 - $272,600.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
