Role Description

Archimedes is seeking an Assistant Manager, Clinical Operations to join our team! This can be a fully remote role. Archimedes is hiring a full-time nurse to work with our employer, health system, and health plan clients to manage the specialty drug benefit. We are expanding our team and looking for a clinical professional who has drug management experience and a passion for managed care. Given our continued growth trajectory, we are looking for a person who can grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Deliver telephonic support to identified patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and their staff with primary care or specialist facilities related to specialty drug management.
• Lead the high touch case management in producing quantifiable, quality results for Archimedes’ programs.
• Maintain excellent quality and superior customer service while adhering to goals of program.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with members, prescribers, pharmacies and other vendors.
• Facilitate the development and provision of services across multiple healthcare sectors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• RN Preferred
• 5+ years of work experience in nursing, managed care supporting case management, medical management and/or utilization management.
• Experience in medical management/billing at a health plan or TPA
• Excellent interpersonal skills and articulate on the phone
• Efficient, yet attentive to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent critical thinking skills with ability to quickly spot issues
• Quantitative and analytical, yet engaging and personable
• Independent, proactive, forward-thinking, creative problem solver, results-oriented with strong verbal/written communication skills, self-starter
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL experience is a plus
• Ability and willingness to be in office up to 5 days a week (standard 3).
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
