Role Description

SECOND SHIFT FULLY REMOTE EMERGENCY RADIOLOGIST

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine in partnership with Indiana University Health Medical Group is seeking an Emergency Radiologist to join our team. Our Indianapolis-based practice of 30+ Emergency Radiologists is expanding teleradiology services throughout the state and we are looking for candidates interested in a hybrid academic/community practice work environment.

• Work 2nd shift, 134 shifts/year model.
• Wide range of cases from both academic medical centers and community hospitals.
• Collegial team of ER radiologists and excellent clinical administrative assistants.
• Shifts are 9 hours (5p-2a EST), fully remote and performed from home on a workstation provided by the department.
• Work alongside multiple other ER radiologists, including a dedicated ER neuroradiologist.
• Customized worklists and availability of ER-centric dictation templates.
• AI programs such as RadAI which autogenerates impressions.
• Ability to read advanced neuro imaging is a plus but not required.
• Both clinical and academic track positions are available.
• Involves teaching trainees; the Department hosts robust residency and fellowship training programs.

Qualifications

• Emergency Radiologist with interest in hybrid academic/community practice.
• Ability to work remotely and manage a flexible schedule.
• Experience in teaching and mentoring trainees.

Requirements

• Must be available for 134 shifts/year on a 2nd shift schedule.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with a team of ER radiologists.
• Familiarity with AI programs and dictation templates is beneficial.
