Role Description

The AI/Virtual Care Nursing Leader provides nursing leadership and clinical oversight for AI-assisted documentation and virtual-care nursing initiatives across Adams Health. This role leads:

• AI governance
• Patient safety and quality oversight
• Workflow design
• Implementation
• Education
• Program evaluation

These efforts support the responsible integration of technology into nursing practice. The position works collaboratively with clinical and organizational leaders to develop technology-enabled nursing workflows that improve:

• Efficiency
• Access
• Care delivery

while maintaining patient safety, professional accountability, privacy, and quality standards. This is a grant-funded, time-limited position dependent on continued RHTP/GROW grant funding and organizational need. Future funding is not guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, or a related field preferred.
• Nursing informatics or nursing leadership certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of nursing experience, including progressive leadership, clinical informatics, virtual nursing, digital health, quality improvement, or healthcare workflow implementation experience preferred.

• 30 hours per week - First Shift
