[Hiring] YouTube Channel Manager @Cineflix

Role Description

The independent contractor will provide remote YouTube Channel management, optimisation and audience-development services from Brazil for Cineflix YouTube channels. The services will support the growth of those channels in reach and revenue through:

• Publishing, packaging, testing, community management and performance analysis.
• Providing services independently, using professional judgement and methods, in line with agreed channel plans, deliverables, quality standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong conversational written and spoken English.
• Comfortable collaborating remotely with Cineflix contacts, using designated systems and agreed communication and delivery schedules.
• Demonstrated professional experience managing YouTube channels.
• Demonstrated professional knowledge of YouTube Studio, metadata optimisation, thumbnails, playlists, analytics, monetisation policies and community tools.
• Comfortable using data to spot patterns, diagnose performance issues and recommend practical next steps.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage recurring publishing, optimisation and reporting workflows.
• Strong editorial judgement and an understanding of how packaging, titles, thumbnails and formats affect audience behaviour.

Requirements

• Publish and optimise content on designated YouTube channels, including metadata, thumbnails, playlists, scheduling, community engagement in line with agreed publishing plans.
• Analyse audience profiles, channel performance and content gaps to identify practical opportunities for growth.
• Define, test and evaluate content formats, volumes and publishing frequencies, including full episodes, compilations, clips, cutdowns, YouTube Shorts and other digital derivatives.
• Recommend and apply optimisation for monetisation, search, discovery and audience retention using platform analytics and best-practice packaging.
• Extract actionable insights from YouTube analytics and translate them into clear recommendations for programming, metadata and format testing.
• Manage content pipelines of various content types.
• Assist with resolving limited monetisation issues and claims plus updating video policies or sunsetting video.
• Liaise with designated Cineflix contacts on publishing plans, approvals, feedback and delivery.

Desired Experience

• Written and spoken language skills in LATAM and European languages.
• Experience working with factual, documentary, lifestyle, true crime, science, engineering, property or archive television content.
• Experience running A/B tests or structured content tests across titles, thumbnails, formats or scheduling.
• Interest in audience behaviour, YouTube trends and competitor channel analysis.
