Role Description
This is the person who owns the integrated ecosystem that defines how Zenity leads its category. Product & Partner Marketing build on that engine.
-
Product Marketing makes sure Zenity is understood by buyers.
-
Partner Marketing carries that narrative into every alliance and co-sell motion.
-
Zenity Labs is the engine, researching what the market doesn't know yet and sending signals back into the product roadmap.
-
This person directly helps position Zenity not just as a vendor, but as a shaping force in the communities that define how agentic AI is governed.
-
Ensures Product & Partner Marketing are not separate functions, but one motion with one purpose: category leadership.
-
Agentic AI is moving fast; the window to own this category is now.
This is a US-based role operating on Eastern Time Zone hours.
What Youβll Do
-
Product & Partner Marketing: The Market Narrative
-
Move fast and set the pace; Zenity is building category leadership in real time.
-
Define the category story in close partnership with the CTO and Product team.
-
Oversee product launch strategy and cross-functional GTM coordination.
-
Ensure the field is equipped to execute the narrative: sales decks, battlecards, competitive positioning, and solution briefs.
-
Define the narrative and messaging strategy for Zenity's partner ecosystem across technology, channel, and strategic alliance types.
-
Ensure the partner marketing motion, enablement, joint GTM plays, and co-sell content is built and running.
-
Ensure partners can clearly and consistently articulate Zenity's value.
-
Zenity Labs: The Research Engine
-
Set the strategic direction for independent research that uncovers what the market doesn't know yet and feeds signals directly back into the product roadmap.
-
Define how Labs findings are positioned in context of the product and market.
-
Ensure Labs research reaches the right audiences and shapes how the market thinks about the category.
-
Industry & Ecosystem Presence: Category Influence
-
Define Zenity's positioning and strategic presence within OWASP, MITRE, NIST, CSA, and other key standards bodies.
-
Ensure Zenity's voice is consistent, credible, and strategically placed across the communities that influence buyers and shape the category.
-
Set the tempo for the entire motion: research, narrative, and ecosystem presence have to move together and move quickly.
Requirements
-
Cybersecurity is not a background, it is a requirement: a career built in security, with deep understanding of how enterprise security buyers think and how to build narratives for new categories.
-
Has built a category in security from the ground up. Not inherited one, not supported one. Owned it.
-
Multiple tours of duty in startup PMM. Has scaled product marketing functions at early and growth-stage companies.
-
Deeply embedded in the security community: OWASP, MITRE, NIST, and CSA are not acronyms, they are communities this person actively participates in.
-
Has extended a product narrative through partner ecosystems and knows how to operate across distributed, global teams.
Skill Set
-
An exceptional writer and storyteller, translates complex technical concepts into sharp narratives that move markets.
-
Commercially sharp with a clear point of view on how narrative connects to pipeline, revenue, and partner-led growth.
-
Builds AI agents and marketing workflows, not just uses AI tools, scales output without scaling headcount.
-
Moves with extreme velocity and earns influence through the quality of the work, not the org line.
Leadership
-
Moves with conviction, changes course without ego, and sets a standard for the team's work that they take personally.
-
Self-driven, sees what needs to be done, and does it.
-
Comfortable in board conversations, analyst briefings, and partner QBRs with something worth saying every time.
