[Hiring] Temporary Marketing Communications Specialist @American Heart Association

Role Description

This is a Temporary Part-Time Marketing Communications Specialist role at 19 hours/week for approximately two months. This position can be home-based.

• Develop project management timelines in coordination with key stakeholders and the National Development Training Lead.
• Track deadlines and execute deliverables across various projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Evaluate gaps in existing materials and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead content creation and management for key training resources.
• Oversee updates on SharePoint, Brainshark, surveys, feedback forms, and other training platforms.
• Manage certification dashboard updates in collaboration with regional and national leads.
• Create video content and manage ongoing content refreshes and edits.
• Execute timely communications.
• Execute content development and messaging for virtual and in-person trainings, certification programs, training resources, and videos.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years of experience developing and managing marketing, promotions, communications or related projects or campaigns.
• Excels in project management and meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability in design and delivery of print, internet, and mobile marketing.
• Excels in preparing written, audio, and video communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications (or related fields), or relevant work experience (preferred).
