Role Description
The Marketing Manager, Surgical is responsible for developing and executing short and long term strategies regarding surgical product’s portfolio in Bioventus. This role will include hands on work and ownership to include:

The Marketing Manager will collaborate with organizational stakeholders and work closely with cross-functional leadership to ensure all opportunities are identified, embraced and executed for surgical portfolio, current and future products.

What you’ll be doing:

Main marketing contact for Surgical.

Lead launch of current and future surgical portfolio, including understanding and driving customer segmentation strategies.

Establish and build KOL network across Canada including driving national/regional Medical Education strategy.

Educate and continuously train sales team and other stakeholders on surgery and new evidence.

Lead in identifying and supporting the execution of RFPs throughout Canada.

Conduct analysis and situational assessments, understand competitive landscape and customer needs to establish brand equity and aggressively capture market share.

Develop and execute annual marketing plan including pricing recommendations.

Creating and driving brand strategies and execution through various channels.

Holds oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus’ Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field.

5+ years marketing experience in medical device, surgical products.

Hospital experience required – full understanding of hospital processes including, yet not limited to, processes with all relevant departments (surgical and purchasing/buying groups).

Full understanding of RFP process including past successes in leading and execution.

Ability and desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment with moderate supervision.

Strong understanding and proven ability to collaborate cross functionally to lead organizational change.

Strong understanding and proven ability to use advanced marketing analytics.

Strong written and verbal skills – persuasive, engaging, and clinically credible when presenting and working with internal and external customers.
