[Hiring] Strategic Marketing Intern @Legrand North America

Role Description

The Strategic Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting in the analysis of new markets and product applications for Legrand North & Central America. This opportunity will provide the right candidate with valuable experience in the fast-paced and ever-evolving world of market analysis, opportunity evaluation and target identification.

• Use public and proprietary tools to evaluate markets of potential interest, including market size, growth, competitive and financial structure, analysis of key players, regulatory considerations, and other key factors.
• Assess the ability of LNCA to use AI in conducting market research and present findings on how we can utilize it going forward.
• Create company profiles for potential acquisition targets.
• Collaborate with division strategy teams to collect, synthesize, and present findings.
• Other ad hoc analytical and administrative projects which will arise in support of the LNCA business development function.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be working on completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Government, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with analytics and market research preferred.

Requirements

• Must be available full-time (up to 40 hours/week) in the summer.
• Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.
• Must have excellent problem analysis and problem resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level.
• Must have the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions.
• Strong statistical analysis skills are required.
• Exceptional computer skills are required, including extensive knowledge of spreadsheet, presentation, and database software.
• Proficiency with various e-mail, calendaring, meeting management, and related communications software.
