Role Description
This role involves creating engaging vertical video content for various social media platforms.

Leverage AI prompts and animation tools to transform static photos into dynamic vertical videos.

Transform raw video clips, photos, and graphics into engaging vertical content using traditional editing techniques and AI animation tools.

Create and rigorously test visual and written hooks designed to maximize view rates in the critical first 3 seconds.

Compile and edit 15-30 second videos optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.

Work with provided materials—video clips, photos, graphics, and brand assets—to craft cohesive, on-brand content.

Develop attention-grabbing captions and on-screen text that complement visual storytelling.

Analyze video performance metrics to identify what resonates with audiences and refine approaches to improve engagement.

Partner with social media and content teams to align video content with broader marketing strategies and client objectives.
Qualifications

2-3+ years of hands-on experience in video content creation, with a proven track record of producing engaging short-form content for social media platforms.

University or College degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Proficiency with industry-standard video editing tools including CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms.

Deep understanding of vertical video formats and platform-specific requirements for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.

Knowledge and application of visual storytelling techniques, including hook creation, pacing, transitions, and caption writing that drives engagement.

Experience working within an agency setting is an asset.

Familiarity with the home services industry (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, etc.) is an asset.
